After I posted my www.geocaching.com down, I noticed that others on Vox also had some posts:
Another click on the "play" button and I was led to:
***CLICK*** and I ended up with a google warning:
Thank you Google. You saved my day.
Well, in fact maybe my Internet Guard ***could*** have saved me from some malicious programs but its nice Big G also has a look ;)
So always be aware - if something bigger happens there are people out there who try to get their profit from big news...
PM: Might also be a false warning *but* better one warning too much than one less.
Maybe you noticed that the Google logo changes from time to time.
Usually you can tell the 'why' by hovering your mouse over the new logo they call a "doodle".
The is also a nice short introduction on the official Google Blog by Dennis, the new guy who creates all those funny logos. You can see a video of Dennis down below.
I want also such a nice monitor :)
Looks like he draws it with Painter - also an awesome program when it comes to create real art. I always find it fascinating looking how real artists create their work.
Imagine the next level.

A nice feature of Google Reader is that you can automagically share RSS feeds with other people.
You get your own personal link and can so present your feed items easily.
Mix ! Rip ! Burn ! ah damn , that was Apples slogan ...
Share ! Show ! Save !

Would be a nice addition for the GPhone, don't you think ?
Well, not exactly customizing Big G but how firefox handles Google sites.
You can get this lovely extension on

You have various options how Google sites should look like, the most intriguing is that you can get your GMail (and other Google apps) on the https:// protocol, meaning no one longer can read your mail (if you don't understand the difference between http and https - google it ☺).
Having tons of other features it's just a click
and you are done.
Technically you could also just enter the "s" in your GMail URL, but who wants to do this every time you check your mails ?
You might also notice theres a switch "Remove ads and releated pages" which I never use - hey those ads fund our fun - and in fact I never read them (normally) and despite ads like in my "I hate this" post Google ads are quite unobtrusive ...
So enjoy a more secure view on Googles services.
Sometimes a video is the best explanation you can get. As you might have noticed I am still a big fan of Google Tools - on the official Google blog a nice presentation on Google Docs has been shown I want to share here:
Especially the high-tech animations got my eye ...
Neat, isn't it ?
